ਲਲਾਰੀ — Punjab Da Rang

The word Lalari means "the dyer" — the person in a Punjabi village who could look at raw, undyed cloth and see the colour it was always meant to become.

That is the idea behind LALARI, an original clothing brand producing custom printed and embroidered T-shirts, hoodies and workwear from West Wales, with customers across the UK and Punjab, India.

Long before fast fashion, every village had a Lalari — working with vats of dye and endless bolts of plain cotton, turning nothing into something worth wearing. It wasn't decoration. It was a craft, passed down, trusted by everyone who brought their cloth to be transformed.

From Punjab to Wales

We started LALARI to bring that same idea to a very different landscape. The tractor and wheat field on our designs aren't just graphics — they represent Punjab: the land, the harvest, the rhythm of a place that shaped a way of seeing the world, carried across an ocean and still showing up in how we build things today.
